Monster Bash Pre-Show Party Join us at Cinevent this year, one month before MONSTER BASH for a pre-show party. Trivia for free DVDs, a massive display of classc horror and science fiction, 170 dealer tables at CinEvent, original movie poster auction, and autographs! Monster Bash at CinEvent!
Thanks to the generosity and shared love for classic film of Cinevent's Steve Haynes and group, Monster Bash will have a mini-Bash within the annual Cinevent show in Columbus this Memorial Day weekend. Monster Bash is a conference devoted to horror, science fiction, and weird mystery films from the silent era through the 1960s. The films that we enjoyed as kids back in the 1960s-1970s and still love today. Monster Bash takes place annually in the Pittsburgh area every June. The devotion and excitement from the attendees has always resulted in cries of "more, more." People want to continue to relive their childhood entertainment and horror movies when they still maintained a sense of innocence. Now that "extra" appreciation for those old monster movies will happen at Cinevent. On the 6th floor, the same floor that the legendary Hollywood Poster Auction takes place. A large room will be filled to the brim with monster fun and monster merchandise. Collectibles that represent those classic monsters in the form of DVDs, soundtrack CDs, tee-shirts, books, posters, magazines, and toys will be stocked (in the thousands).
Plus, there will be a mini-screening area with 16mm films (all those rare classic horror and sci-fi features) on-going through the show. On Saturday every hour, on the hour the Monster Bash crew will have trivia contests for free DVDs and other merchandise.
Charles worked with Cary Grant, Doris Day, Vincent Price, Johnny Carson, Williams Castle, Martin Milner, Ross Martin and scores of other notable actors. He's more than willing to talk with you about his projects and the people he worked with. Great memories. He will also be signing autographed photos, or items that you may bring. Please be aware there is a charge for autographs.

Plus, the Monster Bash gang is flying in actor Charles Herbert to be in the room all weekend. Charles is the child actor from the 19550s-60s that we all know. He starred in the original 13 GHOSTS, the original THE FLY, THE COLOSSUS OF NEW YORK, THE MONSTER THAT CHALLENGEDTHE WORLD, THE FIVE PENNIES, THE BOY & THE PIRATES, and so much more! He appeared on TV in My Three Sons, The Tonight Show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Donna Reed Show, and just about every prime time show from that era.
