CREEPY CLASSICS presents...
Every weekend we're watching movies together...whether you're in Pennsylvania USA, or Sydney Australia. It's a throwback! Back to the days when you had the anticipation for waiting till the weekend to see the classic horror or science fiction film that was listed in the TV Guide. The plan is to watch a movie at 7:30PM on Saturday night in your own time zone. Or, if you can't Saturday night...anytime during the weekend. Then, we'll all get together and e-mail our thoughts on the film...a few paragraphs...or simply a sentence if you'd like. They after-viewing reviews appear first on our Creepy Classics/Monster Bash News Page. See the latest thoughts posted by viewers ther now.

Creepy Classics Movie Night - Saturday March 23, 2013 - NOT OF THIS EARTH (1957)

For me, seeing Dick Miller as a vacum cleaner sales man is priceless in this film. Bob Pellegrino pointed out to me the line "No flip-flops" spoken by the stoic alien vampire to Miller and it's just hilarious. But that doesn't undermine the fabulous power of this low-budget chiller from Roger Corman. One creepy alien and very unique plot. Notice the similar flying bat-thing in this that is also in Corman's IT CONQUERED THE WORLD. A good one.

Welcome back to the Saturday Movie . This was my suggestion, a Roger Corman 67 minute favorite. I love the script, with its invention of seemingly real words used to explain a complex medical blood disorder and a technological creation like the teleportation system. After all, this is science fiction not science fact.
